Softball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley fell victim to Woodmont and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Wildcats. The Green Wave have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Woodmont, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley will take on Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodmont, they will square off against Belton-Honea Path at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.7, the Bears 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
