Volleyball Recap: Mulberry Comes Up Short

Mulberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Frostproof Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Mulberry was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-21.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Frostproof, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Mulberry and Frostproof next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Panthers will face off against Winter Haven Christian and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Frostproof will try to stop Bartow's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
