When it comes to explaining why Summit Academy lost, don't look at Dominik Ruiz. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 9 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kai Fehrenbach, who posted seven points.

American Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.
