Trejon Dinkins leads St. Peter's Prep over McDonogh

Senior scored two first quarter touchdowns to power St. Peter's Prep.

Senior Trejon Dinkins opened the game with a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and followed it up with an 82-yard touchdown run to power St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) over McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.). 31-6 in a game played at the Naval Academy as part of the Patriot Classic.

The Marauders were up 17-0 quickly after Dinkins' two scores and a field goal and it never looked back.

St. Peter's Prep junior standout standout Jonathan Hilliman ran hard all day and notched a fourth quarter touchdown. Hilliman has offers from nearly a dozen schools.

The Eagles' lone touchdown came on a 54-yard pass in the third quarter.

St. Peter's Prep (1-0) goes up against Memorial in a Hudson County  matchup next week, while McDonogh (0-2) locks horns with William Penn Charter in a non-conference game.
