Recap: Alvord Bulldogs vs. Nocona Indians
The Alvord Bulldogs lost to the Nocona Indians back in November of 2022, but The Alvord Bulldogs didn't allow the Nocona Indians the same satisfaction on Friday. Alvord came out on top against Nocona by a score of 28-20. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alvord.
Alvord's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Troye Baker, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Dalton George was another key contributor, throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Alvord's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Nocona, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1.
Alvord will face off against Coleman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coleman is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Nocona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
