Torrey Pines entered their tilt with Mt. Carmel on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sundevils.

Torrey Pines' offense was headlined by Griffin Dieter and Declan Flanagan, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Zach Lau and his 16 assists. He also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Ben Brzenski, racking up two apiece.

Torrey Pines' victory bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Mt. Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 12-18.
