Basketball Recap: Denton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Denton's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. It was close, but they capped 2024 with a 41-39 win over the Paschal Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Broncos as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Denton's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Paschal, they moved to 8-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Denton and Granbury will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Paschal, they will take on North Side at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Paschal is facing North Side at the right time seeing as North Side is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
