Basketball Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plymouth Bobcats. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plymouth, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hanover will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Plymouth also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Hollis-Brookline at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
