Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Shadyside Tigers

The Shenandoah Zeps are taking a road trip to square off against the Shadyside Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shenandoah is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 23rd on Tuesday. They took a blow against Monroe Central, falling 72-32. The Zeps have struggled against the Seminoles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Shadyside was beaten by Martins Ferry 81-35 on Tuesday.

Shadyside dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Shenandoah, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Things could have been worse for Shenandoah, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 80-66 loss to Shadyside in their previous matchup back in January. Can Shenandoah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
