Algonquin Regional has gone a perfect 9-0 against Leominster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will square off against the Blue Devils at 5:15 p.m.

On Friday, Algonquin Regional came up short against Groton-Dunstable and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21.

The losing side was boosted by Rhea Anand, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Meanwhile, Leominster waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. The Blue Devils not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26th (when they won 3-0).

Leominster not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept South Lancaster Academy to exactly 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-18.

Algonquin Regional dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Leominster, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Algonquin Regional took their win against Leominster when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
