Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Has No Trouble Against Milton

Edgewood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Milton Red Hawks. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Edgewood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-14.

Addie Oeth was nothing short of spectacular: she had six kills, four digs, and three aces. What's more, she racked up 24 assists, the most she's had over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Siniscalchi, who had 11 digs and eight assists.

Despite the defeat, Milton had strong showings from Elise Wieters, who had 11 digs, and Hadley Murphy, who had.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Milton, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11.

Edgewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Portage on the 7th. As for Milton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Beaver Dam on the 7th.
