Strongsville and Walsh Jesuit are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Strongsville's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Brunswick hitters got past them. The Mustangs fell 10-7 to the Blue Devils on Monday. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Devils since on Monday.

Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit didn't have quite enough to beat Gilmour Academy on Monday and fell 4-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strongsville's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Walsh Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Everything went Strongsville's way against Walsh Jesuit in their previous meeting back in March, as Strongsville made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
