Volleyball Recap: Glenelg Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Abigail Nirola and Bella Chen

Glenelg lost against Arundel back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gladiators lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

Glenelg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Bella Chen and Abigail Nirola certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chen had 17 digs, while Nirola had six digs. Tise Tokunboh-Salako also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Glenelg's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Arundel, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Glenelg has already played their next match (against Annapolis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arundel, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Howard on the 23rd.
