Springfield can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They put the hurt on the Woodridge Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but Springfield sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Sydney Hillyard made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Hillyard has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Hillyard was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
