Marquette came tearing into Friday's game with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rockwood Summit Falcons by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Noah Landewe paced Marquette's offense, picking up six kills. Landewe got some help from Alex Danyluck and his 14 assists. Danyluck was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Rockwood Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1.
