Basketball Recap: Early County Bobcats vs. Savannah Bluejackets
Early County and Savannah squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Early County had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Savannah Bluejackets and fell 69-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since January 20, 2024.

Early County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jabril Lindsey, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 18 points. Lindsey's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Williams, who posted nine points.
Early County's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Savannah, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 25-4.
