Volleyball Game Preview: Christel House Eagles vs. Warren Central Warriors

The Christel House Eagles will challenge the Warren Central Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Warren Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Christel House, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Christel House made easy work of Indianapolis Scecina Memorial and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Christel House walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

Christel House's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kevin Cruz Vera, who had 11 kills, three digs, and one block. That's the most kills Cruz Vera has posted over his last seven games. Jason De La Cruz was another key player, getting nine assists and seven kills.

Meanwhile, Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Ben Davis.

Warren Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Christel House, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
