Basketball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Fairfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Robinson Rams, falling 46-22. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Rams are ranked tenth).

Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Robinson, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Fairfax will face off against West Potomac at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Potomac will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Fairfax surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robinson, they will venture away from home to face off against South County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
