With a playoff win on the line, Franklinton rose to the challenge on Monday. They never let the Gray's Creek Bears get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Franklinton, who have now won three matchups in a row.

James Gogerty and Griffin Redd scored both of Franklinton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Franklinton's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Gray's Creek, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3-3.

Looking ahead, Franklinton will square off against Middle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gray's Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
