Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mustang couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Putnam City North Panthers on the road by a 78-59 margin on Thursday. The Broncos' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Nykaiya Dillard, who went 15-for-21 on her way to 34 points in addition to eight boards and five steals for Putnam City North. Dillard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Raya Shawareb, who made all 6 shots she took racking up 15 points.

Mustang's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Putnam City North, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 26-1.
