Pasadena extends road losing streak to four

Sam Rayburn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Yvette Gutierrez out in front who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Jessiee Morales was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven steals.

Pasadena bumped their record down to 10-16 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Sam Rayburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-13 record this season.

Pasadena will head out on the road to challenge South Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Houston has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. Pasadena Memorial presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sam Rayburn in Texas (Pasadena Memorial is ranked 511th, while Sam Rayburn is ranked 1065th).
