Volleyball Recap: Lourdes Takes a Loss

The Lourdes Knights came up short against the Abundant Life Challengers on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Lourdes' offense was headlined by Anika Leitch and Naomi Liabwill, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Celia Ralofsky and her seven assists. Leitch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lourdes' loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Abundant Life, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 29-5.

Lourdes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Central Wisconsin Christian on the 11th. As for Abundant Life, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Montello on the 11th.
