Swallows Charter Academy won the last time they faced Walsenburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans blew past the Panthers 3-0.

Swallows Charter Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Taylor Bond paced Swallows Charter Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Bond got some help from Sydnee Borden and her 14 assists. Borden was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Swallows Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Swallows Charter Academy will take on Ellicott at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walsenburg, they will square off against Sangre de Cristo on Saturday.
