Football Recap: Paint Rock Piles Up the Points Against Brookesmith

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paint Rock). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Brookesmith Mustangs 70-20. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for Paint Rock, bringing their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Brookesmith, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paint Rock will square off against Menard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Brookesmith, they will face off against Bluff Dale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
