Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Makaela Worsham and Madison Jenkins Lead Guardian Christian Academy to Victory

Guardian Christian Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Royal Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Guardian Christian Academy never let St. Michael the Archangel on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-14, 25-21.

Guardian Christian Academy was led to victory by Madison Jenkins and Makaela Worsham. Jenkins had seven kills, three aces, and one block, while Worsham had 11 assists and five aces. Jenkins is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Guardian Christian Academy's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Guardian Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Richmond Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel will square off against rival Grove Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
