Basketball Recap: Eagle Pass Takes a Loss

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 48-38 to the United South Panthers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 55-53.

Eagle Pass' loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for United South, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.

Eagle Pass and United South should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Eagle Pass will challenge Del Rio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 575 places (269 vs. 844). Meanwhile, United South (ranked 273rd) will meet Laredo LBJ (ranked 916th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
