Basketball Recap: Patrick Barber Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Northwood

After losing to Northwood the last time they met, E.E. Smith decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Bulls walked away with a 53-43 win over the Chargers on Saturday.

E.E. Smith got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Patrick Barber out in front who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Josh King, who earned ten points.

E.E. Smith now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Northwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, E.E. Smith will square off against Terry Sanford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwood, they will face off against Carrboro at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
