Volleyball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-12.

Hampton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hampton Christian Academy will challenge Portsmouth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they will face off against Gateway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
