Volleyball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Comes Up Short

The R.J. Reynolds Demons didn't have quite enough to beat the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

R.J. Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. R.J. Reynolds will square off against Atkins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Triton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
