Baseball Recap: Southeastern Local Takes a Loss

Southeastern Local was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Catholic Central Irish. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Irish earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Southeastern Local's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Catholic Central, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

Coming up, Southeastern Local will face off against Fairlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Catholic Central, they will play host again on Saturday to welcome Northeastern, where first pitch is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. The Jets are coming into the match with three straight losses on the road, meaning the Irish will have to defend against a squad out to prove they can win away from home.
