Preview: Tartan Titans vs. North Polars

Tartan is on a six-game streak of home losses, North a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Tartan Titans will take on the North Polars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Tartan ended up a good deal behind Two Rivers and lost 54-36.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cadence Vu, who scored 13 points. Aliyanna Alarcon-padilla was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.

North suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Hastings, falling 44-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North has scored all season.

Tartan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for North, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-8 record last season and are now at 3-12.

Tartan couldn't quite finish off North when the teams last played back in January of 2023 and fell 54-51. Will Tartan have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
