Whitwell barely beat Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Eagles a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Gabriel Ross, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Garrett Miller, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Whitwell's victory bumped their record up to 20-10-1. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Whitwell has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Sale Creek on the 10th. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
