Soccer Game Preview: Glendale vs. Burroughs

The Glendale Nitros will square off against the Burroughs Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Glendale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Glendale was handed a five-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They never let Pasadena get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Glendale as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Burroughs didn't have quite enough to beat Arcadia on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-2. As for Glendale, they now have a winning record of 7-6-3.
