South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] claimed a resounding 64-31 win over Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley].
Meanwhile, Thompson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Grafton 73-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (63), Thompson still had to take the loss.
Despite their loss, Thompson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Drew Overby, who scored 19 points along with four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Overby hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Wolfgram, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley]'s victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Thompson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.
