Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey St. Viator Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey St. Viator was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Somerset Academy Losee Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Cristo Rey St. Viator's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Cristo Rey St. Viator and Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they will face off against Desert Pines at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
