Ida hadn't beaten Airport on the road since June 4, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Bluestreaks put the hurt on the Jets with a sharp 11-1 win. This was payback for the Bluestreaks, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ida now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Airport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Ida will host Summerfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last seven games the Bulldogs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Airport, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jets are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
