Maize South had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Maize Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The win didn't come easy: Maize scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Maize lost, don't look at Tinley Travis. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Maize South's victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Maize, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-15.

Coincidentally, Maize South and Maize will both be playing Hutchinson the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Salthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mavericks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
