Basketball Recap: Friendship Comes Up Short

Friendship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Genesee Valley Jaguars and fell 36-8. The matchup marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Genesee Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Friendship Golden Eagles duke it out with the Arkport Central Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. After both having extra time off, Genesee Valley and Bolivar-Richburg will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
