Football Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 13-6 to the Norwalk Lancers. The Pioneers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Norwalk came from Jaylyn Mcgarrah, Jazmin Jimenez, and Katherine Eneque.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Norwalk, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Western has already played their next match (against Rancho Alamitos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Norwalk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Saddleback on the 18th.
