Frontenac won the last time they faced Baxter Springs and things went their way on Monday too. The Raiders won by a run and slipped past the Lions 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Frontenac pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Baxter Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
