Cox Mill has gone 9-1 against Concord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Spiders at 6:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Cox Mill came up short against Ballantyne Ridge and fell 7-4. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sienna Papineau and Audrey Barnhill did some serious damage despite the final result: Papineau got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple and one RBI, while Barnhill scored a run while going 3-for-3. That triple was Papineau's first of the season.

Concord played against Forest Hills on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Cox Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Cox Mill came out on top in a nail-biter against Concord in their previous meeting back in March of 2020, sneaking past 9-7. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Spiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
