Basketball Recap: North Garland Takes a Loss

North Garland lost against Wylie back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Garland Raiders took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wylie Pirates. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

North Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Wylie, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-11.

Looking ahead, North Garland will welcome Lakeview Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Garland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lakeview Centennial likes a good challenge. As for Wylie, they will head out on the road to square off against Sachse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sachse will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wylie surely won't give up without a fight.
