Volleyball Game Preview: Deming Wildcats vs. Hatch Valley Bears + How To Watch

The Deming Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Hatch Valley Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Deming is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Deming lost 3-0 to Cobre on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Hatch Valley came up short against Tularosa on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Hatch Valley lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23.

Deming's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hatch Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Deming was able to grind out a solid victory over Hatch Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
