It was a proper cat-fight when Chicago Academy took on Golder on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Panthers 4-0. Considering Chicago Academy have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lizbeth Sanchez and Maribel Correa scored all four of Chicago Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

The victory (which was Chicago Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Golder, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Academy will venture away from home to square off against Lane Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golder, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on De La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on the 20th.
