Volleyball Game Preview: Chaminade Eagles vs. Culver City Centaurs

The Chaminade Eagles are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Culver City Centaurs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chaminade will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Chaminade had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Valencia on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Vikings 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-10.

Culver City kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chaminade.

Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Culver City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Chaminade was able to grind out a solid victory over Culver City in their previous matchup on Saturday, winning 3-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Centaurs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
