Whitko had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 11-13 to make it five. They lost 11-1 to the Peru Tigers. Surprisingly, this marked the Wildcats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Whitko saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Harman, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitko will head out to square off against Prairie Heights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Peru, they will venture away from home to challenge Lafayette Central Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
