Perkins's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sandusky Blue Streaks with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Perkins was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Avery Maldonado was nothing short of spectacular: she had 20 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Maldonado wasn't the only good servers: Perkins was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Pirates are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Perkins is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Sandusky, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Perkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bellevue on the 2nd. As for Sandusky, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Clyde on the 2nd.
