Brentwood Christian and Regents are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bears will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Brentwood Christian has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 27.

Brentwood Christian came up short against Grace Community on Friday, falling 12-2.

Brentwood Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Henry Gonzales, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Regents scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Grace Prep by a score of 14-13. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (11), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Will Thomas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cash Nelson, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Regents has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Brentwood Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything went Brentwood Christian's way against Regents when the teams last played back in April of 2022, as Brentwood Christian made off with a 7-0 victory. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
