There's no place like home for George Jenkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Bishop Kenny Crusaders 10-1 on Saturday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Jazlyn Duque spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Mathers, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Alexa Kennedy also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

George Jenkins hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Kenny struck out ten times.

George Jenkins pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Bishop Kenny, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

George Jenkins will take on McKeel Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Kenny, they have already played their next contest, an 11-8 victory against Sickles on the 29th.
