Softball Recap: West Orange Takes a Loss

West Orange lost against Ocoee back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Knights, falling 19-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Orange saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Caulkins, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Caulkins' first of the season.

West Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Ocoee, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, West Orange will square off against Lake Buena Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vipers have averaged an impressive 12.1 runs per game this season. As for Ocoee, they will take on Windermere in a tournament on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
